This week I flew solo again. And like a man drifting back to his bachelor ways, I gravitated toward the familiar in order to hide from feelings of inadequacy and despondency.
Not really!
I sorta accidentally stumbled into this Prequel rewatch and wanted to finish before I lost enthusiasm. I hadn’t watched any of the Prequels in years because they’re not good movies, and not even the Star Wars nerd in me willingly revisits them. But I’m really glad I did, because they are good fodder for thought.
Let this also be a warning of sorts: I have a piece coming about some of the absolutely insane implications of the Prequels, things that have been hiding in plain sight but entirely unaddressed. The article only lives in my head at the moment, which is a crowded space, so it’ll be a few weeks before you see it. Just FYI.
I had so much fun doing this pod, which I think comes across because I laugh at my own observations quite a bit. Which ones? You’ll have to listen to find out!
