Cannot wait for the WMCJ epic saga to unfold Predator/Point Break style! I will pass though on the orange hostess "cupcakes" 😆
P.S. An actual GREAT Netflix movie you should watch and it's a legit prestige one starring ScarJo and Adam Driver - A Marriage Story. All married/coupled peeps should watch this. The acting is just epic and it has Laura Dern! Watch it if you wanna feel destroyed at the end like me 😀
P.P.S. So are me and Sheila the only ones who voted ROTN?!!
I watched Happiness for Beginners a few weeks ago and I agree, it was perfectly adaquate! That poem scene towards the end had me laughing out loud though. Too cheesy.
Regarding White Men Can't Jump, we have a rule in my house and it began when my husband stated he would watch any Woody Harrelson movie and we have.
Thanks for the recommendation for Happiness for Beginners. I haven't been on Netflix because I canceled my subscription services during my hiatus when we moved to Oregon. Not sure if one movie is enough of a reason to subscribe again but I'll keep it in mind.
I voted for Firefly because I loved this show when it came out. I haven't done a rewatch but perhaps your article will inspire one.
I've never had the Hostess Orange cupcakes and I probably won't because I have my own favorite fall treat. I recently bought a box of the Pumpkin delights thinking my kids would enjoy them but it turns out I am the only person in my house who does. I made sure to dispose of them properly in my belly.
In a similar way to how Adar was a highlight of Rings of Power for me, Baylan is definitely one of my favorite things about Ahsoka. He's challenging or subverting so much of what we have come to expect from a villain and I am really curious about his ultimate goals and motivations (which hopefully will be made much clearer next week).
Loving D&D myself too! Been playing biweekly (ish...lol) in my first ever campaign this year and loving it!
WAY TO TEASE US WITH THE BASE-KET-BALL, PIERCE!!!! I might have to watch this one myself, if for no other reason than to bask in the understated genius that is Ms. Rosie Perez (get the damn woman a drink of water already!) :) As for the poll: I am VERY intrigued to see what 21st century heads and tails you might make of Revenge of the Nerds.....ONWARD!
Lol...watched Happjness this week too. Nothing really to dislike and sure to be forgotten within a week. It passes the time and year, sometimes that's all you need too!
So it's not just me who has trouble with Netflix. When it comes to all of them, I'm like Lou Costello, and they are all Bud Abbott, completely conning me and getting away with it...

My nickname on one of my old soccer teams was "Billy Hoyle," well, it kinda fit.
Also: I voted for passenger 57, 'cause I like planes. RotN would probably be the one you could take in the most directions, though.
