First of all, how cute are you and your mom?! Second, you need to watch the movie Go which is the first Timothy Olyphant movie I ever saw. Maybe the only movie of his actually, surprise surprise.

Nothing against him, but he was just sort of a bonus, as the main reason why I went to see it when it was first released was that back then, being the massive Dawson's Creek fan that I am, basically went to go see any indie movie that had Katie Holmes in it. Thus why I also saw in the actual theaters the excellent films Pieces of April, The Ice Storm, and The Gift which I was really in love with Greg Kinnear ever since he was the host of Talk Soup on E Entertainment Television.

AND Go also stars Sarah Polley which again I was such a fangirl ever since she played Ramona Quimby on the PBS TV series. So, go see Go!!

I’ll second that. Go is awesome.

Alas, Go isn't streaming anywhere currently. I literally checked Olyphant's entire filmography to figure out if I could watch everything he'd done. :D

My younger some is convinced that every mattress store is really just a front, and you know what? It's hard to argue against him.

Speaking of theories, I'm convinced that Olyphant is one of-if not the- most underrated actor of the last 10-15 years. Justified and deadwood were both amazing.

Listening: "Good living Is Coming for You" by Sweeping Promises. Someone described them as "The B52s without sunlight," and I can't say it better than that.

Watching: I'm finally on The Bear bandwagon. And only about 8 episodes behind my coworkers, who have figured out how to stream it to the monitors in our breakroom. This means I eat lunch by myself, but I'll catch up soon enough.

Reading: More excel sheets at work than anyone should be subjected to. Flight schedule data, traffic numbers, fuel deliveries; you know the good stuff.

I used to confuse Olyphant with Josh Duhamel like 15 years ago, I'm embarrassed to admit. Then I got hooked on Deadwood, and never made the same mistake again. Can't wait to see him return as Raylan Givens!

Another mention of The Bear on this same comment thread.. I really need to check it out. :)

I'm really surprised at how nuanced it is, and how much of depth (?) they can squish into such short episodes.

That indeed is good stuff Kevin! I would love a shot to work with that kind of data one day, about the aerospace industry 🤓🚀

I am a little disappointed there was no Griswold family reference! I guess Cousin Eddie couldn’t find a hook up for his RV in your lake ‘hood. Looked dreamy! I just NOMMED Season 2 of The Bear. Sweet Mother of Elvis and Jesus and James Brown this show is a MASTERPIECE! SE02 maybe BETTER than the first. Recommend!! Welcome back!
