Like a lot of people I discovered this movie on video and couldn’t believe how cool it was. I knew it had basically come and gone in theaters and as I watched it that first time, getting more and more hooked with each passing scene, I just remember thinking “why was this not a hit?!?” It had everything. Literally EVERYTHING.
I think I had blocked that out or maybe was just in that 90s-Chi-Pep-overhyped fugue state and it went unnoticed. Either way I would have lobbied hard to be able to throw that punch. No Flea for me, thanks. But a deep dive into "the Break" YES! Can't wait to read it my friend!
Given my limited awareness of Anthony Kiedis, I’m gonna go ahead and say that’s maybe an apropos ending for that character. Also, not that you need more research, but if you haven’t listened to your favorite band sucks Red Hot Chili Peppers edition, you’re missing out.
So... Point Break is a true classic that I’ve seen many times but I had no idea that was Anthony Kiedis! As others have mentioned, I recognize Flea all over the place but didn’t know Kiedis found his way into films, too.
I agree. Hollywood likes to thrust a band's front man into the spotlight, so it’s surprising Flea has endured. I’m not a fan of Babylon, however Flea’s great in it.
I've never actually watched Point Break :) so I didn't know it had Anthony Kiedis, very cool. I knew Flea was quite the actor back in the day. Thanks for bringing back memories of legendary LA bands like RHCP!
OK. That was funny. I will subscribe. I also need to watch point break again.

It’s a great movie!
I still remember “Because THAT would be a waste of time!”

It's such a good movie!
I remember him getting shot in the foot, but not getting knocked out. I guess the lesson here is always show up on time.

I'll check it out! Though I do the Chili Peppers. 😅
I’m not here to yuck anyone else’s yum…but he’s a yuck for me. 😂 (insert Randy Jackson GIF)

I forgot he appeared in the film. Flea’s acting career has flourished.
It's kinda funny when you think about it.
