Predator is so good. I have an essay coming about it soonishly.

Also, can't watch Jim Halpert as a super spy. It just...my brain hurts thinking about it.

Cool! From what angle are you writing about Predator?

I'll be writing about it and Prey, comparing their structure, and discussing some other related topics.

Late to the party on this Fri Hi 5 but my excuse is I am on vacay 😃

We were on a ferry that takes 3 hours to go to the island where my family originated, and the ferry showed A Quiet Place 2. It was just one normal size TV for the whole human passenger area and no individual headsets provided, thus I thought the ferry provided the perfect Hollywood movie in terms of the length and high visual storytelling element, without requiring any sounds or dialogue. I hadn't seen it before nor the first one, but I loved the cast and performances!

When we docked, we couldn't disembark right away since we were still bobbing up and down in the water too much, which was good since I missed the first 10 minutes or so of the beginning and they looped the movie ☺️

I really loved the first A Quiet Place. The sequel was okay. I guess I needed more Jim Halpert. :)

Cillian Murphy tho! He was great 😃 OK I need to go back and watch the first one. I realize I haven't seen any John Krasinski movies apart from his less than 10 minutes in AQP2, nor even The Office 😆

You haven't seen The Office?!

Tell me you've seen Silicon Valley. As an IT person, it's required viewing.

Neither! Nor Office Space :) All on my watch list!

OMG so funny!!! Thx for sharing that 😆

Couples Retreat...nope...not funny...much in the same way as listening to Russell Brand makes you want to enjoy the experience but ultimately leave feeling nothing and desperately trying to recall what just happened.

The movie is a real missed opportunity.

I had only seen Predator for the first time within the last year or so. It was incredible!
