I haven't seen The Mosquito Coast in eons, but you're making me want to rewatch it. And because I also have a thing for RomComs, I might have to revisit Sabrina! At the time I remember that coming out and being like "Han Solo in a romcom, what?" But after seeing him in Shrinking, I feel like it's always been obvious that there is no role he can't make his own.

I totally forgot about Sabrina! Fun movie, as I recall. Might be interesting revisiting after Harrison's turn in Shrinking.

That's exactly what I was thinking. As I said, I remember it being "weird" at the time because of his roles up to that point. But now I think he probably just liked the script enough and thought he could do it. I'd also like to revisit Witness. Could be a Harrison Ford-a-Thon in the works!

Eric, this is one of the best "internal discussions" a sports fanatic should have with themselves. I LOVE IT! "The Wolverines won the National Championship. What did I win? Bragging rights? Over whom? For what purpose? The idea of getting wound up over the fortunes or failures of people who don’t even know I exist suddenly feels a little silly." I love sports and watching them on television or better yet, in person (when I can afford it), but this is totally brings (and keeps) sports fanaticism into perspective.

Thanks Michael, I really appreciate that!

Hey, wait, is The Mosquito Coast starring Ford the same or based on the same source as the Apple TV Plus series with Justin Theroux? Like, I've seen maybe an episode of the latter but this makes me really interested in the movie.

Yeah, both are based on a novel of the same name.

Ok, I think I've got to watch it now. Thanks!

Speaking of Harrison Ford. I have this vague memory of watching Witness at school. I feel like 8th grade or so. I'm pretty sure it was to learn about the Amish. But I can't imagine it was really appropriate.
