I was waiting for you to "fall" for Fall Out (groan! NO REGRETS!). Each episode is better than the one before it--I stand by this. AND, yes, GHOUL BOYD CROWDER! It's hard not to hear some of his dialogue as Boyd, but it reminds you of Goggins' phenomenal acting chops. I already can't wait for the second season!
YES! I never played the game, but my manpanion said they did a great job bringing in some of the game play and the aesthetics…I CAN’T QUIT BOYD CROWDER!!! :)
My two most successful Dad picks the movie night with my daughters has been "Back to the Future" and one that brought the house down in a way I wasn't expecting "The Martian". Give those a run and good luck out there.
Fallout is close to great. Doesn't quite get there but almost does. The Maximus storyline I think is the weak link and there isn't enough Michael Emerson. But man, do I love the tone and the worldbuilding.
I mean, the power armor and the lore is cool. But there is definitely a lack of confidence when it comes to the character. Still, I'm really excited where S2 is going.
Just finished Fallout and have never played or seen the games. Quite enjoyable but I don't think I'd be sticking around for a 2nd series. It all felt very predictable. Loved the sets and costumes and a joy to hear the brilliant Matt Berry as a bot. It was the wannabe knight who put me most off.
Love to read a deep dive on The Last Stafighter!
What am I watching? My 9 year old has become obsessed with Modern Family. We've nearly reached the end after 11 seasons and I'm constantly surprised just how good the writing is and amazed whenever a gag from seasons pass resurfaces (plane heading Phil for example).

We watched those with the kids years ago and both were loved. The Martian is a great movie!

I'm the least interested in Maximus at this point. Which is too bad because the Brotherhood of Steel seems like a cool premise.

Oh man, Modern Family had an incredible run! Front to back, just amazing writing.
I'll add The Last Starfighter to the docket! It's been a long time. Should be fun.
