In prison, every year, no matter where I was, they made it a point to show us "It's A Wonderful Life". I have grown to hate that movie with the heat of a thousand suns.
One year, the chapel did a Christmas movie festival of sorts, and we watched some pretty dubious Christmas movies, including a hilariously terrible one with Terrence Howard and Charlie Murphy, the name of which escapes me. But the absolute worse (and, in retrospect, I realize I am just piling on) was "Surviving Christmas", which was such a hateful, obnoxious and poorly-made piece of Christian pandering. It really is barely a movie -- after like 55 minutes of Christmas propaganda (which is really hard to pull off, I think, since even the most cynical Christmaspoitation has a hint of the season's glee within), they really try to lard up the runtime with montages and dance sequences that mean absolutely nothing.
In my nightmares, I still recall Kirk Cameron yelling, "Let's feeeeeeeeast!" as if it was a common phrase everyone used regularly.
I hear good things about Skeleton Crew. I'll probably wait until all the episodes are available and then possibly give it a watch. I've still not watched several of the other Star Wars live action series (Ahsoka, The Acolyte, and I've only watched two or three episodes of series 3 of The Mandalorian).
I am also enjoying Skeleton Crew. Started watching Jack in Time For Christmas but after the 10th f bomb I had to give up- stars Buble’ - Rebel Wilson and Jimmy Fallon among others too crude for Christmas. No time for all the holiday slasher films either.
Skeleton Crew is great. Really enjoying the 80’s vibe so far and them allowing the kids to act their age and not like mini adults. Hopefully Jude Law coming in as the “star” doesn’t pull the attention away from the 4 leads
I live in Scotland, and have done my whole life, and yet I do not own a castle nor do I wear a kilt when going down the shop to buy a loaf of bread. I feel in the eyes of the Hallmark Channel my life has been a failure 😞 😁

I wouldn't bother with any of those (Acolyte, Ahsoka, season 3 of Mando). So far Skeleton Crew has been great!
Skeleton Crew has been so much fun for the first two episodes. I'm hoping they keep it up.
