My friends and I did D&D a few times in high school but never got into it. We did do the Star Wars RPG a lot though. Along with things like Magic and the Star Wars CCG. I would say "man I used to be a real nerd" but then I remember I'm on substack because I write a star wars newsletter. So yeah.

We played it a few times with my friends 5 years ago, but nobody actually enjoyed the experience beside me 😔 And what I noticed is that it's quite hard to find people who play it, but I still carry around a set of dice just in case I suddenly find people to play with 😅

That's really too bad. I got lucky, my friends love playing. Have you tried playing online? There's always games looking for players on Roll20 and the like.

Yeah, but it doesn't "feel" the same if you know what I mean. In person is always better, but I guess I'll just have to wait for the right moment

As a lifelong TTRPG lover, GM, and Hacker…got to love this! Some day I need to get you to a virtual table Mr. Pierce.

Hmm…I wonder if my I should link some of my online sessions to my Substack…

Also The Wold Ar’rin originally started as a gaming world…how novel.
