One of my first layoffs came with 6 months severance pay and happened on June 1st. Leaving the office felt EXACTLY like the last day of school, and so far has been the only time I've been able to revisit that feeling in adulthood.
I remember watching the Anne Hathaway movie One Day, which I just googled and learned is based on the same novel as the TV show. The final "one day" was absolutely devastating!
I enjoyed One Day and yeah, got a little weepy at the sudden impact episode. My wife though...tough as nails. She refused to get past ep 1 and has no regrets. She doesn't do tearjerkers but faux historical dramas? All in.
I really hope Fallout doesn't get canceled in its penultimate season. This is the best videogame adaptation at the moment.
At the moment, and probably ever (so far).

I can only imagine! I imagine retirement will feel similar. If we ever get to retire, that is.

I didn't realize it was that sort of love story until it was too late :|
I really need to watch the "Fallout" after this
It's really good!
My home town, Winnipeg, has long had a well-deserved reputation as one of the places in the world where the Slurpee is most passionately enjoyed.

One Day is a faux historical drama--it takes place in the 80s/90s! 😉
Does she like The Crown, then?
Well…we’re talking Briderton and yes…The Crown. More historical!
