Purim is my favourite holiday. Can't beat getting drunk in costumes and howing at bad gus al with rabbi's blessing. I guess Halloween comes close but candy from strangers is still weird especially here in NZ where it's spring and it doesn't get dark until 9pm.
Happy Turkey and Pie Day to you and yours my friend! I, too, am thankful for pretty much everything on your list INCLUDING John Hogman the person! Enjoy! Sloth mode--ENGAGED!!
It was so nice of the Same Old Lions to show up yesterday...
Completely agree on Apple products and work from home. I actually just pulled the trigger on a new MacBook. I've used Chromebooks the last 5ish years after being an Apple guy my whole life. I figured for what I use a laptop for, it was tough to justify the cost. I didn't factor in the planned obsolescence in the Chromebook. My current one is slower than my 9 year old Mac Mini.
And after being full time WFH for almost 9 years, I don't think I could ever go back to an office. "Wait, you want to me wear real clothes, and I have to talk to...people??"
If there's one thing I've learned to count on, it's the Lions losing on Thanksgiving. The only difference this year is I actually had hope they'd still pull it out somehow.
MacBook Air with the M2 chip. I was hoping the M3 chip would make it to the Airs this year, since I can't justify the cost of a MacBook Pro. Hell, I can barely justify the cost of this one. But it sure is nicer than my Chromebook.

This sounds pretty awesome actually
Happy T-day, Eric! Sorry about your Lions. It was nice of them to give the Pack something to feel good about, though.
I sense a smirk lingering behind that sorry..

A belated the same to you!
I'm thankful for the Internet allowing me to connect with people I never would have met in real life, like you.
I totally agree!

What kind of MacBook did you get?

The M chips are really great. I keep thinking about getting a Mac Mini even though I don't really need one.
Happy Thanksgiving!
The same to you, Robin!
I am sorely tempted to write a short story about you - I mean an entirely unrelated protagonist - going postal on a leaf blowing neighbour.
As you know, I think the internet is more a net negative, but that doesn't mean I'm not thankful for it from time to time. :)
