Two things good sir. I played NES golf endlessly as a kid. It was hard in that mistakes were costly. But if you could manage you could score. I got -20 once and the final two holes were the most nerve racking knowing one mistake and I could blow an all time best. Secondly listen to John Stewart's podcast with Tony Gilroy. You will love it. And man is that dude the shiznitz. No problem understanding how he helped create one of the best TV series of all time.
Thanks for the podcast rec, I'll definitely give it a listen!
As for Golf: I forgot that the yardage doesn't update after your shots. The difficulty/skill comes in estimating the distance and picking the right club. We were out of practice. It got ugly 🤣
I love the River City Ransom sprites for the dodge ball game. I don’t think we’ve ever talked RCR but if you’ve never played it add it you should consider adding it to the backlog
I love River City Ransom. Jeremy and I played through the whole thing as kids. Great game. We briefly talked about playing it last weekend but knew it was a heavier lift.
Dr. Mario was my jam! I got one of the Nintendo 8 bit boxes that were sold around Thanksgiving in 2016. So there are a few dozen classics I have at my disposal!
On your rec, I started Day of the Jackal and am loving it. With his freckles, Eddie is not the one I would pick for a hit man, but he's good.
You definitely need to start THE BEAR. The wedding episode is cryworthy and Jamie Lee is in it! Other than the fact that Carmy talks too slowly, I love all the wackadoodle characters, probably Richie the best.
You kayaking side by side with your wife is such a great picture in my head.
All I can say is “This is the way.” Just….everything here. And also: Seriously Day of the Jackal WAS SO GOOD! As you were.😎☀️🍦
Might be time to start S4 of the Bear! 🤩
WHY ARE YOU COMMENTING AND NOT ALREADY WATCHING?!?! 😉🍿

Glad you are enjoying some well deserved R & R!
Thanks Mom! 😎
Jealous of the super Tecmo Bowl…that’s the only video game I ever really loved.
It still holds up amazingly well!

I really wanted one of those retro consoles. The RetroPie is a very close second.
I had to sit there the moment it became available and buy it as quickly as possible. They sold out within seconds.
Where can I get access to those old Nintendo games?
I think you can find any of the ROMs online.
