It's always fascinating to see the movies and shows people turn to when they are sick. Those are the true comfort watch shows. Next time I'm sick I might check out The Last Dance (finally) based on your description. It would be the perfect addition to my schedule in between my rewatch of Ink Master.

I do think YMMV with The Last Dance. It's a good documentary but I also have idolized Jordan most of my life. Just fyi 🤓

While you're on Apple TV+, check out "Drops of God", and underrated sophisticated series the algorithm buries in favor of more commercial titles.

So happy you are better and back at the pop culture helm, with THE Tom Hanks as your copilot it seems! Huzzzaahh I say!

I skipped this because....

no Apple.

I told them to fuck off, because it does not work on my phone, but they continued to charge me anyway, until my credit card was stolen and canceled. That's what it took to get rid of them.

Glad you're better. That sounds really awful.

Greyhound is another film that damn well should have had a cinema release. I watched it on television through gritted teeth.

I have Apple running out soon too, will try to squeeze in a couple of these - the Jones Murray one sounds as I suspected but I also find them both charming so it remains top of my list. Echo Valley I saw the trailer for and forgot about so thanks for the reminder. I do loathe cop out endings too though. The Last Dance is an addictive watch, can totally see how it is a fun rewatch/comfort watch. The Tom Hanks films, hm, I think I might just have to pick one. Little Affleck made me giggle. Hope you are feeling better now.
