I have to save all of this somewhere because can you believe I've never seen Deadwood? Also the Wire and Oz. I can't die until I see all the shows. I'm also working up to a rant about how much I hate Ted Lasso. I'm in a rage.
For one thing, it’s saccharine. And the other problem is that I went in completely blind and didn’t know it was set in England. And seriously, does Juno Temple have to be in EVERYTHING??
Well done. Makes me want to rewatch. I've seen season 1 and parts of season 2 twice. Need to redo season 3 at least went finally watch the movie. But I love revisiting the town through your eyes. I wonder if you ever need to go episodic with these write ups. Maybe following the characters, themes, and storylines like this will work throughout. Looking forward either way. Just keep enjoying the process. We're here for it.

I've never seen Oz and only started on The Wire recently. It's hard to see everything worth seeing.

The real Wild Bill Hickok was shot and killed in the summer of 1876 in the real Deadwood, South Dakota. Does the show depict that?
Yep! The show intersects with and diverts from actual history in interesting ways.
I thought so.

Thanks Clay, much appreciated!
I saw the series DEADWOOD and read the book, which is by one of my favorite writers, Pete Dexter. The book is better.
All of Dexter's books are amazing, tho.
I want to rec a series here that is on Hulu called DYING FOR SEX. It's not your usual type discussed here, but I'm always breaking barriers, aren't I?
Michelle Williams is absolutely phenomenal in it. As you would assume, it is about a woman dying from cancer who has never had an orgasm.
It is funny, moving, raw and everything else.
I'll add that to my watchlist, thanks for the rec! :D
