Just lost my cool at a chill bonfire because someone stopped watching at the end of S2E3 because they didn't like the wedding reception dancing. He told me AI is unsustainable for now but they're about to crack the code to unlimited energy. I told him that he bought into the propaganda for Palatine's Energy Project. I'm very fun at parties.
This happened when I first saw "Rogue One" in theatres on IMAX 3D, then felt very disappointed with "The Last Jedi" despite everyone else loving it. Many years later, "Andor" came, and it made it hard to watch shows like "Mandalorian" and "Ahsoka". "Skeleton Crew" came close to capturing the feel of Andor despite it being a soft PG-13 series when compared to the HARD PG-13 in "Andor."
I can't wait to have kids and show them all the good sitcoms now! Also I'm firmly on Parks being better. Probably because I love the heartfelt stuff on top of the funny stuff
I think I said something along these lines in this week's Death Star HR, but it's probably just as well there aren't any new Star Wars TV shows this year because they wouldn't measure up.
I feel Andor will have the same effect on me. I have to go back and give the prequels a solid rewatch soon, Iโll try really hard to enjoy it (but should I REALLY have to?)
There are a few groups doing Mandalorian rewatches prior to next yearโs movie. Season 1 may remain solid and enjoyable but Seasons 2 and 3 are in doubt

You're always welcome at mine!
I loled when Krennic said--with a straight face--that Palpatine's project was for unlimited power. Ofc it is.
Hey, Eric. I think you meant it's the 20th anniversary of Sith. And I totally get it. George Lucas' camp dialogue was even worse after I saw TLJ.
๐ good catch.
RE: Andor & Revenge of the Sith. Totally Agree! And after Andor S2, E12, I immediately watched Rogue One.
Did you like Rogue One even better after Andor?

It's been great fun sharing stuff we love with our kids. One of the perks! ๐ค

George Lucas may be a billionaire, but he wrote shitty dialogue
It's so bad!
Trying to be a fan of any particular television series is hard to do when the IP owner keeps changing the lock on the door to keep the fans out.
